MEET Vidalynn Asiamah-Asare

NP Vida-Lynn Asare is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Walden University and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Chatham University. Prior to that, She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the State University at Stony Brook, New York, and her Master of Adult Nursing degree from Rutgers University, New Jersey.

She has been a nurse since 2002. Her diverse background has provided her extensive knowledge across different specialties and healthcare settings, including mental health settings, inpatient, outpatient, long term travel nursing and community settings. She specializes in treating anxiety disorder, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, Bipolar disorder, addiction, ADHD, family relationships and stress management. Her approach is to foster collaborative therapeutic relationships and develop individualized treatment plans that creates a pathway to empower and instill hope for improved overall well-being of her patients
